Brace yourself...you won't be disappointed
I couldn't wait to buy and watch this film! It has been long over due. I heard it about it a couple of years ago and finally it's here. I watched the film with my best friend and it took us over 3-4 hours to watch it. We stopped it to argue with each other and whether if we agreed or disagreed with the people on the film LOL
To make a long story short, this film shines a light on what people, all walks of life, think is independence or what having an independent mind state is all about. I loved the way most people stayed on point with their opinion about how they felt the roles of a man and woman should play out. They generally spoke about balance in their home, career, relationship and within themselves. The impeccable knowledge that stems from the root sources of these individual lives touched on all bases of what forms personality and opinions in today's society. This film is definitely classic!!!!!!!

Long awaiting and amazing documentary
This film is like no other in that it allows you to learn about stereotypes and the opinions of what a "independent" woman is. I would suggest watching this film with a group of people because it will definitely be a conversation starter! Miss Independent will make you question what independence is as a woman and in other women, it also discusses relationships. I would recommend this film and watch it with friends and let the discussions flow!
